Facilitation Game Lab: what about the 6th principle of the Agile Manifesto?

February 23, 2021 By Anurag Shrivastava

The 6th principle of the Agile Manifesto for Software development states:
”
The most efficient and effective method of
conveying information to and within a development
team is face-to-face conversation.
”
Yet here we are almost 12 months working remotely. And getting experience with remote facilitation that works. Or not? So let’s try them out!

A Facilitation Game lab is an evening activity in which facilitation games/formats can be tried out.

Only one rule: whoever proposes a game/format also facilitates the try-out.

CANCELLED New Ways of Working the Human Component CANCELLED

February 23, 2021 By Karl Smith

New Ways of Working Meetup Group

This session is being set up to set out as an Agenda for Change that is focused on humans and how they can remain central to the Measurable Success in Organisations.

“While there is now a huge body of work in regard to Agile Transformation much of it has been focused on ‘continuous flow’ and ‘transparent work’ leaving the areas of ‘how to work’ and ‘other people’ in many cases without guidance so they often create anti-patterns that ultimately undermine the Agile Transformations” Karl Smith

How to conduct an agile assessment?

February 21, 2021 By Ashish Kulkarni

How to conduct an agile assessment at Agile20Reflect Festival

Agile maturity assessments provide a way for organizations to evaluate the effectiveness and adoption of agile practices. Assessments can be inputs as a quantitative measure for retrospectives at the program or team level. The house of lean and the agile manifesto emphasize that relentless improvement is critical to success. Agile maturity assessments can help with that discussion. Assessments are not designed to be used as a measuring rod for discipline or rewards rather it is a way for an organization to foster a mindset of relentless improvement.

In this event we are going to explore how to use a FREE online agility assessment tool to manage an online assessment.

This is a hands on step by step event on how to use the tool and facilitate events around discussion AMA findings.

Outcome:
At the end of this event you will be able to execute an assessment at your organization. (this is a hands on event, FREE online tool for all attendees)
