Facilitation Game Lab: what about the 6th principle of the Agile Manifesto?

February 23, 2021 By Anurag Shrivastava

The 6th principle of the Agile Manifesto for Software development states:
”
The most efficient and effective method of
conveying information to and within a development
team is face-to-face conversation.
”
Yet here we are almost 12 months working remotely. And getting experience with remote facilitation that works. Or not? So let’s try them out!

A Facilitation Game lab is an evening activity in which facilitation games/formats can be tried out.

Only one rule: whoever proposes a game/format also facilitates the try-out.

7 Reasons why your Agile Transformation is failing (and what you can do about it)

February 19, 2021 By Anurag Shrivastava

“We’re going Agile!” is something that is heard everywhere around us. A lot of organizations are going through agile transformations in some way or the other. Some start with the teams and some go full-on. However, statistically, most of them haven’t been successful. Surprised? Well, I’m not.

You see, there are many ways that organizations can go through a transformation and can be successful. However, there are many issues that they face and ironically, they could have been avoided if they’ve learned from others who’ve failed, learned, adopted, and be successful at their agile transformations.

Leaders of the organization often shoot in the dark and hope for the best. Also, sometimes they aren’t clear on how to achieve the goals while adopting the agile mindset and ways of working and they fail. They miserably fail due to the reasons that can be avoided.
In this presentation, we will discuss the most common agile transformation mistakes that you can avoid and what you could do about them in order to increase the chances of success for your transformation.

This interactive session will provide facts, guardrails, and tips to effectively manage your transformation from the learnings of others who’ve failed and learned from their mistakes. It will also provide the techniques that can easily help you overcome the hurdles.

We look forward to having you join us !
