The Agile20Reflect Festival Archive

February 5, 2021 By Karl Smith

Archiving Agile20Reflect Festival

The Agile20Reflect Festival Archive is a work in progress and a labour of love since no one is getting paid to build this.

Five days in and we have received Five event recordings

Everything that is being done is voluntary please help us to make all events available online forever. Each Archive Listing is the same as the one on the Festival Calendar excluding email addresses.

How do we plan to do this mammoth task?

We have a plan! It’s adaptable and open to change as we are trying to maintain two key principles, “it’s a FREE Festival” and “how to keep things FREE”. The first part is to upload everything on to a New YouTube Channel The Agile20Reflect Festival Archive  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCTkos6Vj6Ab17NVc-26MscQ/

YouTube Archiving Agile20Reflect Festival

After that we will deliver an Archive UI. We are still investigating translations and subtitles, if you have experience in this area and can help please join the Archiving Team through SLACK.

Please let us know what regional site you can access if US based technology services are not always available?

January 30, 2021 By Scott Seivwright

Drawing of the World ans a picture of a man in Tweed.

I can’t believe we are ready to open the Festival!!
Today we officially open this amazing month of free community events.

Everyone is welcome at our high energy opening ceremony or at any of the 600 Events across the globe!

And we dedicate it to my great friend Martin Burns. He would have loved this festival it stands for everything that he did. We also remember and honour all the other great Agilists who live on through our stories, memories and us following their work. In heading forward we honour the past!

Come join the festival we kept a space for you!

Viaje de Sudamérica en el Festival Mundial de Agilidad

January 11, 2021 By Karl Smith

Agile20Reflect Festival Festival Comunidad Given

Jorge Ulsen R.
Embajador de Sudamérica

Enthusiasm, commitment, joy is what has prevailed the most in the South American team to be an active part of the world’s largest Agility Festival “Agile20 Reflect”.

Almost 3 months ago this human team began to be formed, first of ambassadors and then, gradually, spekers from Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Uruguay, etc., were added.

Along the way, there have been some challenges, decisions to make, situations to resolve; however, by encouraging principles of the Festival such as Autonomy, Flexibility, Inclusion and Self-management, we have managed to advance and build not only professional relationships, but also to build new friendships that we hope will be preserved over time.

Despite differences in language, cultures, time zones, visions, etc. this has not been an impediment to meet and interact with people from different parts of the world (Scotland, USA, India, Nigeria, Sweden, France, Spain…). In fact, it has been a privilege and an honor to have the opportunity to cross borders, learn from others, complement the visions and meet beautiful people in our region and the world, who are not only passionate about Agility, but also seek to build a better society.

Certainly all the progress that has had the region of South America have been the result of the ambassadors who have participated more actively with enthusiasm and commitment to push this great event, and speakers that have been added. A great recognition for all of them.

Jorge Ulsen R.
South America Ambassador

Alexandra Oporto (Perú), Pedro Crespo (Bolivia), Sandra Mejía (Ecuador), Carlos Quiroga (Colombia), Alexis Hidalgo (Chile), Laura Gayoso (Venezuela), Jorge Castro (Perú), Amanda Zárate  (Paraguay), Jorge Ulsen (South America)

About Agile20Reflect Festival

This is a Festival without events, in the style of Uber being a Taxi service without taxi’s. It’s focus is facilitation not organisation in a true Agile sense the outcomes belong to the participants not the facilitators. It’s the ultimate embodiment of an Agile way of celebrating Agile. Anyone can add a free event to the calendar and we will promote it as part of the festival.
