Creating Psychological Safety with Disciplined Agile: a Google Case Study

February 25, 2021 By Anurag Shrivastava

As part of our PMI Netherlands Chapter participation in the Agile 20 celebration, this webinar is a great opportunity for chapter members to learn more about Creating Psychological Safety with Disciplined Agile: a Google Case Study.

Many organizations are currently facing increased levels of anxiety, depression, fear and stress caused by the uncertain world that we are living in.
So how can you create a mentally healthy environment in your organization with the psychological safety that employees require?

To gain some insight into how organizations and leaders are responding to this need, we will explore the 5 key elements that make teams great at Google.
We will also discuss four strategies from Disciplined Agile that you can immediately apply to enable psychological safety in your team.

Content:
1. Review: Google case study.
2. Disciplined Agile Mindset: Promises.
3. Enabling psychological safety: Four (4) strategies.
4. Interactive process goal exercise: Sustaining Teams.

Charge Up a Learning Team

February 12, 2021 By Anurag Shrivastava

If there is one thing teams have learned from the current crisis, it is that change is inevitable. The only way to stay happy and productive is adapting organically to a changing environment. This is what Team Learning is all about.
Team Learning unleashes the creative and constructive forces in a team. In this event you will experience how. We use small break-out groups to host multiple, highly interactive workshops. In these workshops, you will engage in practical exercises to find answers to the questions:
• Why should management and teams care about Team-Learning?
• How do I create an energized environment that fosters Team-Learning?
• What tools help my team(s) to start and continue in their Team-Learning journey?

Charge Up a Learning Organization

Charge Up a Learning Organization Agile20Reflect Festival

If there is one thing organizations have learned from the current crisis, it is that only the ones that adapt quickly survive and even grow. This is what Learning Organizations are all about, being engaged to adapt organically to a changing environment. Peter Senge (author and management thinker) wrote about this concept in his book “The Fifth Discipline”. The link of his ideas with Agile is clear because the Learning Organization is the last big addition to SAFe (the Scaled Agile Framework).
To become a Learning Organization, start acting as one and celebrate your successes. In this event you will experience how. In small break-out groups, we host multiple, highly interactive workshops. In these workshops, you will engage in practical exercises to find answers to the questions:
• Why should we care about becoming a Learning Organization?
• How do I create a Learning Organization?
• What tools help management team(s) to pave the road towards a Learning Organization?
