He offers exceptional insight to eradicate obstacles to organization, project, team and individual performance. Dubbed the Eternal Optimist by colleagues, uses a positive viewpoint to always look for the “way to make it work” and overcome the “reasons why it can’t.” Combines technical expertise with keen interpersonal skills to quickly identify and eliminate issues using a strong, consultative communication style.

Meet our Ambassador for Zambia Nchimunya Kabunda

Nchimunya’s career in Information Systems Management spans over 15 years with a strong portfolio serving non-governmental organizations (NGOs), start-ups and government. Nchimunya has worked in Zambia, Benin, Togo and Ghana mentoring girls in STEM, providing educational material, educating, capacity building to start-ups and providing skills development to underserved communities.

Nchimunya’s interest in scrum started when she encountered the scrum meet-ups in Accra Ghana with the Blue Ocean Agility (BOA) community. With a strong agile focus BOA has grown to provide not only the meet ups but also training for aspiring scrum master and change makers. With her passion and dedication to excellence in serving communities, the lessons learned from BOA have helped her to empower others.

Nchimunya has been focusing to increase literacy, awareness, and productive use of agile management across Africa. With her experience as certified scrum master, she is ready to use her experience to provide strategies to organizations and individuals in the adoption of agile management.

Nchimunya holds a MSc. in Information Systems Management and BSc. in Computing from the University of Greenwich, UK. She also holds various certifications.

Meet our Co-Regional Ambassador for North America Padmini Nidumolu

Padmini is the co-founder of ‘Lean In Agile’ (LIA), an organization for women in lean and Agile. She is passionate about raising the floor for women by amplifying their voices and enabling them to find support within the Agile community. She launched ‘LIA 100’, an initiative to bring inspiring stories of 100 women in lean and Agile communities. She holds workshops and presentations at global conferences and meetups to share the vision of Lean In Agile, diversity and inclusion. She is an unshakable optimist who believes in the ability of the Agile community to co-create an impactful future.

Padmini delivers high energy presentations at various Agile and business transformation conferences. She is a two-time TEDx speaker. She is a frequent guest at leadership and inspiration focused podcasts. She is a certified enterprise Agile coach, Business Agility strategist and a trainer. She works with individuals, teams and leadership to deliver better business outcomes through transformational leadership. She strongly believes that excellence is a journey, not a destination.

Padmini is an accomplished Indian classical dancer and enjoys performing the art. She loves to cook and coach her children’s STEM teams. Her favorite quote is “When women support each other, incredible things happen”.
