Early reflection – Day 2!

February 2, 2021 By Sathpal Singh

Agile20Reflect Festival Event Background

The party’s started!

The party has truly started! The Agile20Reflect Festival has got off to a flying start and we are coming together to share, listen, learn, reflect, debate and dance. After the wonderful Open Ceremony it was my turn to host an extension of that glorious event featuring the festival’s Patrons. A real honour and privilege!

I really wasn’t sure how it was going to go trying to host 13 guests at once and individuals of their standing but they were awesome, as expected, as were all those who attended and above all – we had fun!  I have no doubt everyone left with something to reflect upon.

We stopped for a quick break, given it was a 2hr long session and I left my screen for just a few minutes only to return to music and dancing. What a joyous moment that was! As April put it when we discussed coping with lockdown, “Find your dance.” Wow!

I took away much and will definitely need to re-watch the recording but I gleaned this little beauty of a sequence. Which for me, may well describe how I wish to partake in this glorious celebration!

Breathe. Focus.  Practice.  Dance.

A truly humbling experience. My thanks to all of our Patrons for taking the time to join us and for sharing their reflections and insights. Also a big shout out to my wonderful co-hosts for the event and my trustees sisters Sabrina and Shelby. What an amazing job they did!

There’s plenty more!

We’ve only just begun but there’s a packed month of events ahead of us!  So if you’d like to hear more from Alistair Cockburn, April Jefferson, Arie Van Bennekum, Askhat Urazbaev, Ellen Grove, Esther Derby, Gabrielle Benefield, Johanna Rothman, Lyssa Adkins, Peter Merel, Roman Pichler, Sally Elatta and Simon Wardley please do explore the festival program.
