In December 2020 I posted the following on Linked In. This meetup with LS Wicked Questions is my invitation to explore this topic with a larger group!

“For years I told myself and everyone around me “I am not important” – when it came to group decisions or team stuff. I tried to rather literally embody “take it to the team”. I still think this is an important feature of behaviour when it comes to servant leadership.

However the other side of this sometimes seems to be that people do not listen to what I have to say or do not deem my opinion or contribution valuable. This is no complaint, merely trying to show what I feel is another side of this “i am not important” behaviour.

Now, here is my wicked question: how could I – can anyone – be simultaneously a servant leader and feel heard and seen at the same time?
