Agile manifesto principles past, present and future

February 25, 2021 By Anurag Shrivastava

As part of the Agile20 Reflect Festival (https://agile20reflect.org/) to celebrate 20 years since the creation of the Agile Manifesto for Agile Software Development (https://agilemanifesto.org/) join the Adelaide Agile Community as we shall use a string of liberating structures to reflect on the twelve principles as defined, used or otherwise and what we can and/or need to do in the future as practitioners and as a community.

String for the session will include: Impromptu Networking, Principles Walkaround, 1-2-4-All and 15% Solution.

Slow Thinking Manifesto Conversation Cafe

February 17, 2021 By Anurag Shrivastava

2021 seems to be off to a frenzied start: set your goals, promote your ambition, go Go GO! January has a way of triggering my #fomo as I compare myself to others and feel this sense of heightened urgency to act/perform.

This year though I saw the Slow Thinking Manifesto and a thought arose: might this be an alternative to this #triggered state I find myself in? Have you seen the Slow Thinking Manifesto? If not, you can find it here: https://overthefence.com.de/manifesto/?lang=en

After taking some time, I noticed a desire to talk with others about it. #sensemaking

So Robert Huberts and I invite you to slow down with us, explore it together and practice #liberatingstructures with the support of the #ConversationCafe.

Not familiar with Conversation Cafe? No problem we’ve got you covered! See the image below for the essentials

Would you like to know ALL about it before we start?

Archived Liberating Structures: Fostering creativity

February 12, 2021 By Anurag Shrivastava

Each Liberating Structures meetup we will cover a different theme and we will use various structures. Next meetup is planned on Friday the 12th of Februari from 14:30-16:00 CET and this time the theme is “Fostering creativity”.

When are we most innovative? Do we allow us to stop the train every now and again to let our minds wonder off? Can we train creative thinking? How does this benefit results?

In these interactive sessions we learn how to use Liberating Structures and we help each other with challenges. Share your expertise and receive help from other professionals.
