February 24, 2021 By Anurag Shrivastava

The Retrospective Radar Accelerating Agile Sales At Scale with Anthony Coppedge

February 5, 2021 By Anurag Shrivastava

Come join us, we are honored to have Anthony Coppedge provide insight on using a Retrospective approach and outcome metrics for Sales and Marketing teams, actually, this solution can be used by all teams. This is a great example of how Agile Thinking and Working applies to “pure” business organizations where no software or technology solution is the desired output.

This event is part of our Agile20 Reflect Festival list taking place in February 2021. The Product School has many webinars and events as well and all are invited to signup.

Learn how to apply the visualization tools and techniques for teams to reflect together in a spirit of continuous improvement and then report, at scale, on the aggregated feedback so that leaders can make informed decisions to adjust strategies based on team insights.

The Retrospective Radar is a visualization tool and technique for teams to reflect together in a spirit of continuous improvement. The Retrospective Radar itself is a helpful overlay of Pat Kua’s ‘Retrospective Starfish’ for prioritizing learnings and new ideas and overlays it on top of Stephen Covey’s ‘Circles of Control, Influence, and Concern’. The result is a visual way for team members to identify and prioritize their own work in the Circle of Control while elevating feedback and requested changes to their direct manager (Circle of Influence) and sharing systemic issues or system-wide new ideas directly with Senior Leadership (Circle of Concern). What’s distinct about the Retrospective Radar is how qualitative feedback is aggregated, quantified, and prioritized for action by leaders while the prioritization of work comes for the users comes directly from the insights gained during the retrospective itself.

This session will include an overview of how the Retrospective Radar, the reporting mechanisms, and Watson Natural Language Processor are being used at scale today as well as a live interactive session using Mural for all session attendees to participate in simultaneously.

Anthony Coppedge is based out of Fort Worth, Texas where I lead the Agile Transformation for Digital Sales. Most of my brainpower is spent coaching marketers and consulting Sales & Marketing teams on implementing an Agile mindset, which means I teach leaders, managers, and teams on how to manage the tension between planned and unplanned work so that they can deliver value faster. I have been a keynote speaker, session leader, and panelist at dozens of on-site and online conferences over the past 30 years. I fuel my heart by mentoring young leaders and writing for a variety of audiences. I value empathetic leadership, have an odd penchant for Oxford commas, and I think Chips Deluxe cookies taste so good the tiny Keebler Elves should be taken seriously.
