F-A-R
Focus, Accomplish, Reflect
We hear a lot about personal agility, yet what does it mean to be agile? In today’s fast-changing world, an agile mindset is more important than ever. Those who succeed cannot afford to become overwhelmed by uncertainty. We can beat overwhelm by applying 3 aspects of the Scrum framework:
– Focus on what’s important,
– Accomplish something now, and
– take time to Reflect.
Personal agility is an extension of the agile principles we already apply to software development: Set well-defined objectives, put together an action plan based on achievable accomplishments and move forward with actions we can take now. Through accomplishment, we learn from real-life feedback and decide whether to continue or pivot.
