20 Years of Women in Agile
February 23 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm EST

To celebrate 20 years of the Agile Manifesto the organizers of Agile Alliance and Agile Testing Days/ Agile Testing Days USA teamed up for a virtual panel discussion on the development of women in agile. Join some of the most influential women in the field to learn more about the early and current contributions and challenges of women in agile.
Janet Gregory and Ellen Grove will moderate a one-hour panel consisting of a wonderful round of guests. Linda Rising, Esther Derby, Rebecca Wirfs-Brock, and Ash Coleman will share their thoughts on the evolution of Agile then and now. Many women participated in the network of conversations that culminated in the Agile Manifesto, and yet the authors of the Manifesto were all men: who were the women involved in the early days of Agile? What challenges did they face and what did they contribute to the conversation? How have women influenced the Agile movement and affected existing structures? These are just a few of the questions that will be touched upon during what is sure to be a lively conversation honoring the significant contributions that women have made to this domain.
