20 Jahre agiles Manifest Brauchen wir es noch?

Im Februar 2001 trafen sich 17 Software-Entwickler und Projektmanager in einem Skiort Utahs zum Austausch über Muster und Praktiken effektiver Software-Entwicklung. Sie prägten «Agile» als Begriff und definierten mit den bekannten Werten und Prinzipien des Manifests neue Rahmenbedingungen für die Projektorganisation in der Software-Entwicklung. Heute gilt das Agile Manifest als Gründerdokument einer Bewegung, die mittlerweile weit über das Software-Projektmanagement hinaus getragen wurde. Agilität wurde zum Mantra und Allgemeingut.

Erstaunlicherweise behielt vieles von dem, was die Autoren innert weniger Tage im kleinen Kreis formulierten in vielen neuen Kontexten und unter vieltausendfachem Praxistest seine Gültigkeit. Den Rest versuchten zahllose Vorstösse zu korrigieren oder verbessern, von denen Heart of Agile und Modern Agile nur die bekanntesten Versuche sind, die Essenz verträglicher zu formulieren. Andere schauen weiter und fragen: Was kommt nach Agile?

Wir möchten an diesem Agile Breakfast auf das ursprüngliche Dokument zurückkommen, um der Frage nachzugehen: Welche Bedeutung hat das Agile Manifest – in den letzten 20 Jahren und in den nächsten?

Wir laden die Teilnehmenden ein zum Austausch im Fishbowl. Einleitend werden Expert*innen aus jahrzentelanger Erfahrung auf die Vergangenheit und Zukunft des Agilen Manifests blicken.
