Principle 6 of the Agile Principles has promoted face-to-face as the most effective and efficient way for teams to communicate. However, is that principle outdated? We can collaborate and communicate effectively in a virtual setting and enjoy a multitude of benefits such as flexibility, diversity, global coverage, and cultural awareness. However, we need to be mindful of ways we can foster trust and strong communication and collaboration despite the challenges that come with remote teaming.
