Reducing Fear in Agile Transformations
February 23 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm CET
“It’s been 20 years since Agile Manifesto signing, and yet the 12 agile principles can still scare the hell out of traditional organizations, inducing fears in their “command and control” culture.
Bring your courageous self to our meetup!
You will be invited to join us on a quest of finding fears/ fear symptoms in Agile Transformations.
This digital version of the “Fear in the Workplace” game will offer you a set of stories as well as a collection of Fear Monsters.
In small groups and brave discussions, you will uncover evil monsters behind these stories and together find solutions from the “Safety in the Workplace” set. You will be invited to share your own experiments to address similar challenges from your organizations. Bring your own Agile horror stories to make it real.
Come back with ideas and practices to bring more safety into your workplace.
The first versions of these games were created by Dana Pylayeva for her keynote at the “Agile Games” conference in Boston in 2018. Since then, the games have been played at conferences in US, Canada, Germany and India as well as translated to multiple languages. The games are based on Dana’s experience coaching organizations and teams internationally, as well as inspired by ideas from “The Fearless Organizations” book by Amy Edmondson.”
Dana Pylayeva is an Agile Coach and Founder of Agile Play Consulting LLC and Author of the Book: Introduction to DevOps with Chocolate, Lego and Scrum Game.
