Archived Will agile continue to be the golden goose for consultancies?
February 15 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm GMT

*A Practitioner Discussion
Over the past twenty years, consultancies have driven agile transformations around the globe. It has spawned an entirely new market sector that has provided jobs and in turn wealth for hundreds of thousands of people. But as we have seen in the dot.com bubble, the IT sector and recently the film industry – has consulting reached its pinnacle, and what is going to need to change over the next 20 years?
Are external factors are creating a perfect storm for the consultancy model as we know it today:
• Increased remote working due to COVID
• The fact I have to pay multiple times a nurses salary for a Scrum Master
• Tax reforms in the UK – decimating contractor income
• Outcome-based contracts
I would like to have an honest and informed discussion with my consultancy and contracting peers on what client engagement looks like for the next 20 years.
Audience: consultants and contractors
*Learning Outcomes: Gainful insight from our global peers on what changes we need to make to survive and thrive for another 20 years
